Senior IT Project Manager

Vorwerk Services GmbH, a leading provider of IT services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead large-scale IT transformations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the S/4 HANA transition project for 5 plants in 3 countries, collaborating with the overall project lead from Vorwerk Engineering and the external project lead of the selected implementation partner.
- Oversee the technological transformation from the existing SAP ECC 6.0 landscape to the S/4 HANA target system for production companies, aligning with business objectives.
- Be accountable for all IT deliveries within the project, including solution design, implementation, test, deployment, and hypercare.
- Manage, motivate, and support internal and external implementation teams, representing agile principles and ensuring project team members can work independently.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and benefits, ensuring project completion on time and in line with scope, quality, and budget goals.
- Manage daily interactions with functional stakeholders, project managers, internal IT teams, and external implementation partners.
- Provide profound technical expertise to business process re-engineering at Vorwerk Engineering.
- Manage and effectively communicate expectations of stakeholder groups, providing solution options to meet business requirements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and budget to high-level management stakeholders across the Vorwerk organization.
- A successfully completed master's degree in Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other equivalent disciplines.
- Proven, multi-year experience as an IT project manager in large SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions in engineering and discrete manufacturing companies, ideally in data migration projects and international environments.
- Profound knowledge about required technical changes in SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions, as well as relevant knowledge about different project approaches in conversions and selective data transitions.
- Profound process expertise across SAP modules relevant for discrete manufacturing companies.
- Appropriate experience in applying agile and classic project management methods, ideally in SAP Activate, Prince II, and Scrum.
- Deep understanding of the SAP technology, architecture, and strategy.
- Very good lateral management skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and hands-on mentality.
- Adequate experience in balancing conflicting requirements with global cost-efficient delivery.
- Fluent German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate with high-level stakeholders as well as internal and external IT implementation teams.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
