About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor - Supplier to join our team at emagine Consulting. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and quality delivery of manufacturing components from our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site audits and reporting of manufacturing performance at our supplier facilities
  • Perform quality inspections and testing, including the creation of technical documentation
  • Document and resolve defects in collaboration with various departments
  • Verify the completeness of incoming and outgoing shipments, and assist in the creation of packing and shipping lists
  • Source new suppliers, including initial visits, evaluation of manufacturing capabilities and quality, and onboarding
  • Develop and maintain inspection plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers

Requirements:

  • Technical education, technical degree, or degree in quality management or related field
  • Several years of experience in the field of metal fabrication, welding, or quality management
  • Welding inspection certification is an asset
  • Experience with common quality management methods (e.g. 8D reports, FMEA, PPAP, etc.)
  • Desirable: experience in the international machinery and equipment industry
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with SAP
  • High travel readiness for domestic and international trips
  • Confident and professional demeanor, flexibility, and ability to persuade suppliers
  • Independent, reliable work ethic, and engagement, as well as teamwork skills
