Supplier Production Supervisor

Our client, emagine Consulting, is seeking a Supplier Manufacturing Supervisor (m/f/d) to oversee essential operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on the timely and effective execution of manufacturing processes for plant components at subcontractor locations.
  • Perform quality assessments and functional evaluations, along with the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Document discrepancies and collaborate with various departments to address and resolve issues.
  • Verify the completeness of incoming and outgoing shipments (products, components) and assist in the creation of packing lists while ensuring appropriate packaging standards.
  • Identify and evaluate new supply sources, assess manufacturing capabilities and quality, and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection plans.
  • Enhance the capabilities of manufacturing suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Technical education or qualifications in quality management.
  • Extensive experience in sheet metal processing, welding, or quality assurance.
  • Previous experience in welding inspections is a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard quality management methodologies.
  • Experience in international machinery and plant engineering is preferred.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
  • Skilled in MS-Office and SAP applications.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and collaboratively within a team.
