In the role of Sales Director, you will be tasked with crafting and executing strategic sales plans aimed at broadening the client base and enhancing product sales.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivating strong connections with existing and prospective clients to fulfill and surpass their expectations.
- Business Expansion: Discovering and pursuing fresh business avenues, including venturing into new markets and customer demographics.
- Sales Strategy Formulation: Designing and executing a detailed sales strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives.
- Market Research: Analyzing market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to pinpoint growth prospects.
- Product Expertise: Possessing an in-depth understanding of product attributes and advantages to effectively convey to clients.
- Sales Projections: Creating sales forecasts and budgets while tracking performance against established targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Engaging in negotiations regarding contracts, pricing, and terms with clients for mutual benefit.
- Reporting and Insights: Compiling regular sales reports and analyses to monitor outcomes and propose enhancements.
- Industry Representation: Acting as the company’s representative at trade exhibitions and industry gatherings to showcase products and establish connections.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred background in chemistry, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Sales Director and in Account Management within the chemical or personal care sectors.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with sales software and CRM platforms.
- Experience in technical sales of corporate offerings.
- Fluency in German; proficient English skills are advantageous.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
