JD Ross Energy is seeking a skilled Energy Yield Site Assessor to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will play a crucial role in developing, constructing, and operating wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough site assessments for wind renewable energy projects, analyzing meteorological data, topographical maps, and other relevant information to assess energy yield potential.
- Utilize energy modelling software to simulate energy production and optimize site layouts, ensuring accurate assessments and maximum energy output.
- Collaborate with project developers, engineers, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for stakeholders, effectively communicating technical information.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to validate energy yield predictions and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in energy yield assessments, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in energy modelling software (e.g., WindPRO, PVsyst, HOMER) and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
