Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Musikentdecker, der unsere Künstlerkarrieren erfolgreich entwickeln und unsere Musikproduktionen strategisch ausrichten kann. Als Head of A&R bei Universal Music werden Sie Teil unseres Teams, das sich um die Entdeckung und den Aufbau von vielversprechenden nationalen und internationalen Künstlern kümmert.

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Die fachliche und disziplinarische Leitung unseres A&R-Teams, einschließlich der Rekrutierung neuer und der Entwicklung bestehender Teammitglieder
  • Die strategische musikalische Ausrichtung des Labels gemeinsam mit den Vice Presidents von Vertigo/Capitol
  • Die Führung von Vertragsverhandlungen
  • Die kreative und strategische Beratung von Künstlern und Karrieren, einschließlich der Festlegung künstlerischer Zielsetzungen unter Berücksichtigung wirtschaftlicher Ziele
  • Die Erweiterung des Produktrepertoires und die Suche nach neuen Talenten in neuen Szenen sowie über sämtliche relevanten Kommunikationsformen
  • Die Budgetverantwortung für die A&R-Tätigkeiten des Labels

Anforderungen und Qualifikationen

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrungen im A&R-Bereich und Marketing
  • Erste Erfahrungen als Führungskraft oder die Erwerbung relevanter Kompetenzen
  • Ein umfassendes Netzwerk an Produzenten, Künstlern und Dienstleistern im In- und Ausland
  • Breite Repertoirekenntnisse in der Musikbranche
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
