SOLAR WORK SUPERVISOR - SOUTH GERMANY (m/f/d)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a prominent French enterprise specializing in solar carports, is expanding its operations in Germany through the establishment of a new German GmbH. You will be part of a developing German team, supported by the French teams, responsible for overseeing the execution of work in accordance with established specifications. In your role as Solar Work Supervisor, you will manage the operational aspects of assembly teams and subcontractors involved in civil work, steel structures, and electrical installations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and other stakeholders, participating in site construction meetings and drafting essential correspondence to facilitate project progress and manage disputes.
  • Take financial responsibility for budgets, including site working hours, construction machinery, and any additional works.
  • Conduct necessary reporting (progress updates, additional works) to ensure accurate monthly invoicing.
  • Order required construction machinery and consumables, and monitor the delivery of materials on site (e.g., steel structures, aluminum rails).
  • Oversee work management, including erection teams, subcontractors, activity planning, and work reception.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality, Security, and Environmental policies of the Group Ponticelli.
In this role, you will report to the managing director of the German GmbH while maintaining constant communication with the operational teams in La Rochelle, France.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in construction or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous experience as a Work Supervisor is essential, with knowledge in civil, steel structure, and electrical work.
  • Fluency in German at a native level and professional proficiency in English, with the ability to compose emails and technical communications.
  • Proficiency in planning and basic Excel reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to work sites (residing in South Germany is advantageous).
