Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and launch of new products that meet market demands and align with our company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, design, and sales, to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new product development.
- Lead the product development team in designing, developing, and bringing new products to market, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee the product design process, collaborating with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative and high-quality products.
- Manage the product development lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with regulatory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure products meet all industry standards and regulations.
- Drive a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product development, product management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with product development projects, ensuring proactive risk management.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional development and building a high-performing team.
- Knowledge of Agile or Lean product development methodologies.
