Responsibilities:

As our Director of AI Communications, you'll lead a team of AI managers who design and build state-of-the-art solutions in natural language technologies. You'll deliver solutions that transform users' lives, drive business outcomes, and shape the industry of language products.

You'll identify gaps in team knowledge and contribute new processes to help AI managers solve novel research problems. You'll collaborate with product leadership to form and flesh out the product roadmap, owning the team's goals and roadmap on a quarterly and annual basis.

You'll shape multilingual language products through impactful decision making about the design and construction of natural language technologies. You'll deeply understand relevant products and their users to maximize the impact of the team's AI solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a PhD in computer science, computational linguistics, artificial intelligence, or a related field. You'll have a record of publications at top venues in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning. You'll have 8+ years of experience as a people manager of teams building artificial intelligence technology.

You'll have extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing artificial intelligence solutions for natural language applications. You'll be passionate about writing, reading, and research, with a deep understanding of writing and academic writing. You'll have a strong command of the English language and expertise in one or more of the following languages: German, French, Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese.
