Human Resources and Culture Lead

As a People & Culture Manager (m/f/d), you will be instrumental in shaping and enhancing the organizational culture at terralayr AG. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for adapting to the changing needs of our growing company, implementing essential HR practices, and facilitating the swift expansion of our workforce. This generalist position within the HR division encompasses a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and professional development. Your contributions will help ensure that terralayr AG remains a desirable and supportive workplace where our employees can excel.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour Role in Detail
Recruitment and Onboarding – Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, from crafting job advertisements and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions. Ensure a seamless and welcoming onboarding process for new hires, aiding their integration into our culture and mission.
Employee Engagement – Design and execute strategies aimed at boosting employee engagement and satisfaction. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee needs and proactively address any concerns.
Performance Management – Manage the performance evaluation process, including setting goals, conducting reviews, and providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with managers to create performance improvement plans and support employee growth.
Learning and Development – Assess training needs and opportunities for professional advancement. Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other developmental initiatives to enhance employee skills and career trajectories.
Culture and Employer Branding – Advocate for terralayr AG's culture and values both internally and externally. Develop initiatives to strengthen our employer brand, highlighting our commitment to a positive and inclusive workplace.
HR Policies and Compliance – Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are current and compliant with local labor regulations. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters and best practices.
Event Management – Plan and coordinate internal events such as team-building activities, workshops, and company celebrations to cultivate a strong sense of community and collaboration within the organization.
Employee Relations – Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace for all team members.
Organizational Development – Assist in establishing HR systems, processes, and best practices to create a robust foundation for growth. Identify and implement enhancements to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications- HR Generalist Experience – Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, encompassing various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and employee engagement. Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly advantageous.
- People-Centric Approach – Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for supporting and developing employees. Ability to build trusting relationships and handle sensitive issues with discretion and care.
- Organizational Skills – Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
- Proactive and Resilient – Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and navigate challenges effectively. Resilient in the face of shifting priorities and demands.
- Event Management Skills – Experience in planning and executing internal events to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
- HR Knowledge – Solid understanding of HR best practices, policies, and local labor laws.
- Adaptability – Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities and tasks can change rapidly.
- Language Proficiency – Business-level proficiency in both German and English.
