Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in market infrastructure regulations to support our European Bank Pictet & Cie Europe AG and its branches in ensuring compliance with relevant EU/UK Market Infrastructure (MI) regulations. The successful candidate will act as a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance on regulatory requirements and supporting the implementation of new rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support front-line and operations teams in implementing activities and processes in compliance with MI regulations.
  • Set up front-to-back transactional flows and processes, client onboarding, and contracting.
  • Manage and oversee MI policies and directives, initiate thematic reviews, and participate in relevant committees.
  • Translate market infrastructure regulatory requirements into actionable implementation plans.
  • Be the point of contact for exchanges and relevant NCAs (BaFin, FCA, and CSSF).
  • Perform regulatory watch and impact analysis, and participate in professional associations.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in banking or finance, preferably in MI regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of BaFin's expectations related to MI requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with regulators.
  • Team player with a positive approach and strong culture of risk management.
