Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Spacecraft Operations Specialist to support satellite operations services for the Meteosat weather satellites at EUMETSAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities in the control center and manned facilities
- Perform mission analysis and prepare reports on system operability and availability
- Plan and record operational and maintenance inputs, and resolve initial conflicts
- Maintain the satellite and ground segment database
- Analyze system issues using available reporting and analysis tools
- Develop and improve operational and flight procedures
- Prepare regular performance reports
- Support users and customers in mission operations and data processing
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, telecommunications, physics, or aerospace engineering
- Experience with real-time systems and operational procedures
- Structured and analytical work approach
- Fluency in English, German an advantage
- Knowledge in space communication, radio frequency technologies, and/or ground segment systems an advantage
