Your Role and Team:
In this position, you will report to the Head of Commercial Operations and serve as the liaison between commercial and manufacturing, ensuring the effective management of the aircraft slot allocation process within the Sales and Production Matching (SPM) function. You will work closely with various departments at Lilium, including commercial, manufacturing, program, and engineering. Additionally, you will be responsible for the collection, maintenance, and management of the commercial risk register to enhance our aircraft delivery program and facilitate successful entry into service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collection, maintenance, and quality management of customer aircraft slot allocation using our CRM system.
- Ensure the timely issuance of accurate delivery date assignments in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Communicate delivery notifications to the Aircraft Delivery Manager responsible for respective customer accounts.
- Develop and maintain commercial planning scenarios to optimize delivery volumes and achieve annual and quarterly targets.
- Identify and anticipate delivery risks and propose mitigation strategies, providing customer-specific risk assessments.
- Manage the governance of the commercial risk register and associated processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact within commercial for all short-term Sales and Production Matching (SPM) matters.
- Enhance the commercial delivery planning process to anticipate customer constraints effectively.
- Prioritize aircraft due for delivery while respecting contractual obligations and the commercial context, providing guidance to management.
- Support the digital transformation strategy of the commercial organization and implement process improvements related to slot allocation and reporting.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain internal Commercial Guidelines documentation and manage the division's SharePoint.
Your Profile:
- Experience in aviation or manufacturing slot allocation or sales and production matching is required.
- Strong execution focus with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Proven experience in building consensus and delivering complex, cross-functional projects involving collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for navigating dynamic situations and shifting priorities.
- Capability to influence stakeholders to drive change and implement improvements.
- Strategic planning skills, with a track record of identifying and executing process enhancements.
- A Master’s degree in business or engineering-related fields is preferred.
