Join Our Team as a Head of Teaching

Lingoda is a fast-growing online language learning platform that connects students with expert teachers. We're looking for a seasoned professional to lead our teaching team and drive our mission to make language learning accessible to everyone.

About the Role

As our Head of Teaching, you'll be responsible for managing a team of teachers, developing and implementing teacher training programs, and ensuring the quality of our teaching services. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and deliver innovative language learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers to deliver high-quality language learning experiences
  • Develop and implement teacher training programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deliver innovative language learning experiences
  • Monitor and improve teacher performance, student satisfaction, and pass rates
  • Manage teacher supply to meet business demands, including recruitment, scheduling, and retention
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to monitor and manage teacher performance and supply
Requirements
  • Strong educational experience, preferably in online or offline language learning
  • Proven experience in managing teachers to deliver high-quality language learning experiences
  • Analytical mindset and forecasting skills to work with data to manage teacher resources
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and develop teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation and make things happen
  • Fluency in English and C2 level in German
