About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Collections Portfolio Manager to join our team at Billie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing our debt collection ecosystem and strategies across various markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, including insurance companies, debt collection agencies, and software providers. Your role will also involve developing and improving dashboards to evaluate the performance of our delinquent portfolios and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies and processes
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize debt collection outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in debt collection and operations with a deep understanding of debt collection strategies, laws, and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and partners
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to inform business decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of international debt collection practices and regulations is highly desirable
  • Fluent English and German language skills
