Unser Kunde, mit Sitz nahe Darmstadt, ist eine weltweit agierende Unternehmensgruppe mit omnipräsenten Marken, starken und nachhaltigen Technologien sowie Multichannel-Vertriebskanälen (u.a. e-commerce). Zur Verstärkung des Finance-Teams für Europa (mehr als 100 Mitarbeitende an mehreren internationalen Standorten) wird ein Head of Accounting & Tax (gn) Europe zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt gesucht, der sich neben dem operativen Tagesgeschäft auf prozessuale und steuerrelevante Themen wie Transfer Pricing oder internationales USt-Recht konzentriert. Ziel ist die weitere Professionalisierung und Standardisierung, um dem anhaltenden Wachstum gerecht zu werden.

Aufgaben
  • Fachliche Führung eines Teams von drei Accountants und enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Group Finance SSC
  • Hauptansprechpartner für alle europäischen Niederlassungen bei Buchhaltungs- und Steuerfragen
  • Erstellung und Überprüfung der Monats- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB und IFRS
  • Verantwortung für die Anlagen-, Debitoren- und Kreditorenbuchhaltung
  • USt-Voranmeldung für die europäischen Entities sowie Management zahlungsbezogener Prozesse
  • Verantwortung für die Cashflow-Planung sowie Abstimmungen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Wirtschaftsprüfern, Steuerberatern und Behörden sowie Management externer Provider
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller geltenden steuerlichen und handelsrechtlichen Vorschriften
  • Entwicklung und Implementierung von Prozessen, Systemen und Richtlinien zur Optimierung der Buchhaltungs- und Steuerabläufe des Unternehmens
Qualifikation
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Accounting im Industrieumfeld oder einer Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft
  • Umfassende Kenntnisse der Rechnungslegungsstandards HGB und IFRS, alternativ in US-GAAP
  • Kenntnisse im internationalen Umsatzsteuerrecht vorteilhaft
  • Vorzugsweise Erfahrung in der Führung von Teams und der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Geschäftseinheiten
  • Sehr gute SAP FI/CO- und Excel-Kenntnisse
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Kenntnisse weiterer Sprachen sind von Vorteil
  • Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Finanzdaten zu interpretieren und fundierte Geschäftsentscheidungen zu treffen
  • Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, effektiv mit internen und externen Stakeholdern zu interagieren
