As CTO/Head of Engineering, you’ll lead the development of our innovative AI-driven solutions, helping our clients automate processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and create real value.

You’ll play a dual role: both a leader guiding a growing team of talented engineers and a technical expert driving our architecture, technology, and scalability. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to align engineering efforts with business goals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AI, leadership, and building impactful technology from the ground up.

  • Lead and Manage: Build and mentor a world-class engineering team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Drive Strategy: Shape and implement the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
  • Innovate: Oversee the development of custom AI models and cutting-edge solutions that address the specific challenges of our clients.
  • Build Systems: Ensure our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and ready to support a rapidly growing customer base.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product, sales, and customer success to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Own Results: Be accountable for the delivery, performance, and reliability of our engineering output.
  • Encourage Best Practices: Champion modern software development practices, from agile methodologies to rigorous testing and deployment processes.
Qualifikation

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who combines technical expertise with a people-first approach. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and is excited about using technology to solve real-world problems.

  • Experience: 7+ years of professional engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Technical Depth: Expertise in software engineering, architecture, and modern technologies (e.g., cloud, APIs, AI/ML). Experience with building AI models is highly valued.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of hiring, managing, and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business needs into a clear technical roadmap and execute it effectively.
  • Problem-Solver: Comfortable navigating complex challenges with creativity and focus.
  • Great Communicator: Adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and aligning diverse teams around a shared vision.

For this role, our salary range is between 70,000 and 90,000 EUR annually. We understand this may differ from industry norms, but we complement this with participation in our Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) / Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
