As our next Product Marketing Manager, you will be in close contact with our international team in Berlin as well as collaborate with our product team in Poland. You independently oversee your own products, product lines, and/or significant portions of our product development process, from idea generation, market research, prototyping, user testing, design, packaging, market readiness, production, and launch to quality management and continuous optimization. Finally, you will define and shape the product strategy and roadmap (together with our HQ in Poland).
AufgabenWhat you will do?
- Define and shape the product strategy and roadmap (together with our HQ in Poland).
- Synthesize relevant market data and translate it into meaningful consumer insights and products, taking current trends into account.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of our various Cosmetic products covering UV nail polish, make up and skin care we create in-house.
- Analyze the current product portfolio and identify strategic gaps.
- Drive product development and optimization, including creating variations in packaging, formulations, claims, and layout suggestions while considering benchmarking and legal requirements.
- Simplify complex product details into benefits for our customers.
- Diligently monitor and analyze market trends to gain better product positioning.
- Create marketing strategies inclusive of pricing, advertising and launching of our products.
- Craft exciting and captivating messages across our marketing channels.
- Closely collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to deliver top-quality products.
- Support in preparing strategy and assortment planning meetings.
- Prepare listing recommendations based on market and trend analyses.
- Test the product features, releases and ad copy within the marketing scope.
- Assess various projects utilizing relevant KPIs and feedback gathered from our existing as well as prospective customers.
What we want from you?
- Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or similar role. Experience in e-commerce and stationary sales is preferred. Experience in the FMCG/Beauty sector is an advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. You excel in developing necessary processes, assigning tasks to ensure efficient workflows and success.
- Experience and proficiency in using market research and trend analysis tools such as Nielsen or WGSN.
- Background in design and copywriting is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office and demonstrated expertise in retail and shopper behavior.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English. Communication skills in Polish is a plus.
- An eye for detail and well versed with data along with a creative mindset.
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
