For our globally operating client from Mainz - one of the world's largest purchasing cooperations and all-service providers with a turnover in the double-digit billion range - we are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager (gn) Germany for a wholly owned subsidiary as soon as possible. Aufgaben
  • Solid line to Country GM and dotted line to CFO Europe
  • Overall finance responsibility for the Germany region
  • Business partner for senior management to drive performance and decision making
  • Responsibility for the month-end closing process, general ledger, receivables management and accounts receivable
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports (P&L/balance sheet)
  • Implementation and further development of the internal control system (ICS)
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts and carrying out variance analyses
  • Analysis of income, expenses and balance sheet accounts (balance sheet reconciliation)
  • Liquidity planning and cash flow forecast
  • Working closely with the local finance teams and the SSC
  • Ensuring the proper execution of the SSC's tasks
  • Coordination of external audits and contact person for auditors and tax advisors
  • Main contact person for M&A activities
  • Definition and implementation of KPIs and development of tools and processes
  • Screening of challenges, proactive solution finding and derivation of recommendations for action
Qualifikation
  • Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting and/or controlling or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in financial controlling and accounting, preferably in an international group environment with matrix structures
  • Practical knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI/CO/BW and MS Excel, knowledge of Oracle (Group Reporting) advantageous
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Effective and proactive communication as well as detail orientation
  • High resilience and coordination skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and sense of responsibility
