Personal Assistant Position at Studio Tomás

Studio Tomás Saraceno, an international practice merging art, architecture and scientific-related fields, is currently seeking a Personal Assistant to the Artist (full-time) with excellent research skills and strong attention to detail to join the internationally renowned Artist’s team.
The studio is a fast-paced, hands-on and experimental environment. Our collaborative approach focuses on interdisciplinary projects of different scales, taking place around the world. Suitable applicants to work closely with the artist must be diligent, enthusiastic, and quick-learning, with proven abilities to manage schedules effectively.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- First port of call for the artist’s internal and external communication;
- Planning professional and private agendas of the artist. Scheduling appointments on a daily basis;
- Travel planning, booking and creation of itineraries;
- Internal communication of the Artist’s schedule to the Studio and coordination of daily-activities;
- Assistance with personal errands, requests, and personal correspondence;
- Communication with third parties;
- Contact management and evaluation of interests of the Artist;
- Coordinating, drafting and supporting the Artist with mail correspondence;
**About You**
- Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as time management;
- Ability to set priorities, manage a number of tasks concurrently and work independently;
- Good Knowledge of Windows Office Suit (MS - Office) and Google Suite
- Flexible and committed attitude to work;
- Highly motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in a large team;
- Previous education or experience as an executive or administrative assistant is a plus
- Good knowledge of the art world and relationships between artists, galleries and institutions;
- A degree in cultural management, communication, linguistics or any other art-related discipline is a plus but not a requirement;
- Excellent English with oral and written communication skills; Fluent in German and Spanish; Italian is a plus
- Driver's License

The Studio Tomás Saraceno is an ongoing research entity founded by the artist Tomás Saraceno and driven by his visions, shaped by the worlds of art, architecture, natural sciences, astrophysics and engineering; his floating sculptures, community projects and interactive installations propose and explore new, sustainable ways of inhabiting and sensing the environment.
