**A Snapshot of Your Day**

The changing energy landscape with increasing penetration of renewable energy sources, requires a paradigm change in the way grids are planned, operated, and serviced. Reporting into the Head of Grid Technologies Digital Grids, as Head of Grid Enhancement Technologies, you will play a vital role, and be responsible for developing and continually refining the value proposition for the transmission network planning, automation, monitoring, and operation; both at a global level and in collaboration with adjacent business units and functions.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Ramp up the organization, and define its overall strategy, in particular by deriving its portfolio strategy and offerings, based on the assessment of the market requirements and opportunities, and under collaboration within the Business Area, and across Siemens Energy
- Analyze and explore market trends and identify new opportunities in the area of sensors, power flow control devices, and analytical tools
- Provide effective management to organization’s business activities directly impacting its strategic and financial growth
- Lead a diverse team of engineers, market specialists, and R&D project managers across regions and time zones
- Build effective relationship with customers so as to maintain good revenue increase for the organization

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field with relevant sales management experience in technical capital equipment, solutions, and service with a short to medium duration sales cycle within the power transmission space and a deep understanding of the T&D market
- Experience with sales planning, CRM utilization (Salesforce) and business forecasting
- Willingness to travel regionally and on globally to support the needs of the business and our customers
- Experience and proven track record in people leadership experience including managing of managers
- Versatile interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi stakeholder environment
- High business results orientation that allows you to steer virtual teams coupled with excellent communication skills towards a structured, analytical, and responsible way of working
