As the lead for business ideation and crowd innovation, your mission is to scout these brilliant minds, both within and beyond our walls, and unite them in turning visionary ideas into reality with us.

**What awaits you?**
- Lead BMW’s ideation and crowd innovation activities, from vision and strategy development to requirement definition and execution.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new ideation opportunities, explore new technologies, and translate complex issues into accessible problem descriptions for external experts.
- Build, expand, and maintain a robust network within the crowd innovation platform's community, emphasizing collaboration with internal stakeholders and managing external partnerships.
- Oversee the IT platform's management, budget planning, procurement of suppliers, and financial transactions across BMW business units.
- Regularly communicate with management about the progress, outcomes, and success stories of ideation and crowd innovation efforts.
- Present the ideation and crowd innovation offerings to business units and oversee marketing efforts, including collaborations with external suppliers for promotional content.
- Mentor project managers and lead the creation of innovative, international crowd innovation campaigns to foster innovation in key areas and enhance customer experiences.

**What should you bring along?**
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing, business informatics, design, communication or a similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years in roles related to open innovation, intrapreneurship, trend research, lean startup, or crowdsourcing, with a strong foundation in ideation methods, community management, and experience as a product owner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, coupled with a high level of creativity for innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Exceptional presentation, marketing, and communication skills, with proven experience leading fast-paced teams and collaborating effectively across departments.
- Entrepreneurship coaching, experience with large language model-based ideation, and a curiosity-driven, open-minded attitude are preferred.
- Fluency in English and German (minimum C1 level) and robust IT skills, including MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, database management, and ideation software.
- Demonstrated interest in working within a diverse, international team environment and a passion for driving software quality and innovation.
