(Senior) Data Product Strategist

As a Data Product Strategist, you will lay the foundation for great data products that will one day delight people. To achieve this, you will act on management level at our clients and design data product strategies - the foundation of any great data product. You define vision, mission, organization, roadmaps, business cases and last but not least the strategic design for future data products. Because only when these things are in place a good data product can be developed. In short, the role combines all the magic: entrepreneurial spirit, senior stakeholder management, project management and of course: a passion for data products (management)
**What will be your responsibility**:
- Create strategies to enable our clients to leverage their data to the fullest (e.g. organizational development, operating model, processes)
- Define winning project setups to deliver the product, including product roadmaps and implementation plans, team sizing and role definitions
- Perform interviews and workshops with various stakeholders from top management to data scientists or with the clients of our clients to get everyone on the same page
- With your strategic experience, you take over the management of individual workstreams for complex projects within the team
- Visualize and convincingly present your strategies, concepts and analysis results to various audiences across all company levels
- And last but not least: develop Mindfuel to become THE player in Data Product Management by engaging in internal activities (e.g. recruiting, marketing, process definitions)
**What you'll need**:
- ** 2+ years of professional work experience **in the interplay of data, strategy, consultancy, and/or entrepreneurship, e.g.
- in a leading tech or strategy consultancy (ideally with a focus on technology/data/digital)
- as a (Digital) Product Manager
- in (tech or data) start-ups
- (Technical) higher education: B.Sc. /M.Sc. in computer science, business administration, engineering, or related fields with strong academic performance
- Analytical and conceptual skills to structure complex issues, identify problems and derive strategic solutions
- Strong consulting skills and proficiency with the consulting toolbox to amaze our clients with amazing storylines and sharp analyses (creative and hypothesis-led problem solving, framing and communicating complex ideas, thinking strategically)
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in German (C2) and in English, both verbally and in writing needed
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition to break new digital ground and identify growth opportunities
- A clear understanding of data and AI as well as its advantages and limitations
- And don't worry - what you do not yet know, you will learn
