EIT Health, a Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) under the umbrella of the European Institute

develops activities across a network of Co-Location Centres (CLCs) in Paris, London, Barcelona,
Rotterdam, Stockholm, Vienna and Mannheim. In addition, the InnoStars office in Budapest involves
Partners from Hungary, Poland, Portugal and Italy. EIT Health includes more than 150 partners.
EIT Health executes a portfolio of 100+ projects per year and is therefore now seeking to appoint a EIT
Health Germany-Switzerland Collaboration Lead, reporting to Hub leadership with support and
direction from the head of marketing.
About the Role & its Responsibilities
Working relationships:
At the Germany-Switzerland CLC, engages with:
- CLC leadership, to understand priorities and other CLC leadership of the wider region when
appropriate.
- Communications Lead, to assist in promoting programmes using EIT Health channels, and
- Entrepreneurship Lead, and Pillar Leads for day-to-day co-ordination and knowledge-sharing.
- Stakeholder Relations Lead, for other activity and Network++ development.
At Central Office, works with:
- Head of Marketing, to drive local promotion of programmes.
- Programme Managers across Pillars, to feedback insights from local audiences, and to better
- understand the programmes.for programmes from HCPs and industry professionals.
Role overview:
The Collaboration Lead will manage and organise the CLC’s Member network to take the most
advantage of EIT Health’s Business Plan opportunities and other non-EIT funded initiatives.
The Collaboration Lead will get to know the Members in the regions (and beyond where appropriate),
on-board them and manage them with support from the Internal Communications Team. They will
represent the CLC with Members as well as guide and support the Members’ proposals for EIT Health
programmes. These will be initial stage-gate proposals in Innovation and fill proposals in Business
Creation (e.g., Bootcamps) and Education.

Moreover, the position holder will be involved in leading the development of any additional
Network++ activities or projects and will work with the Stakeholder Relations Lead to source additional
funding and secure the sustainability of the organisation in the future.
Objectives of the role:
- Successfully engage the relevant stakeholders in the local ecosystem (and beyond the strict
geographical boundaries when appropriate) for the appropriate Business Plan opportunities,
complementing consortium gaps with the adequate propositions from inside and outside EIT
Health Membership.
- With the Director of Marketing and the Entrepreneurship Lead, drive marketing and
recruitment campaigns and dissemination efforts to reach and convince a wider
multidisciplinary and multicultural audience.
- Develop new initiatives within the network and with relevant external players, including the
participation in other public and private funding programmes.
- Develop and maintain a valuable EIT Health portfolio of services to the partnership and the
extended community, leveraging regional and international EIT Health resources.
Responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Be an EIT Health representative for the region’s Membership (in the geographical region and,
if appropriate, beyond the strict CLC geographical scope).
- Key account management and relationship building with existing Members and key
stakeholders, to ensure Membership needs are met and operations are running smoothly.
- Support Stakeholder Relations Leads and Internal Communications Teams with on-boarding
new Members and connecting them with other Members, relevant regional and national
innovation communities, European hubs, EIT Health’s network and other health networks and
innovation centres across Europe.
- Guide and support the development of proposals for Business Plan calls from these Members
(full Education and Business Creation proposals and initial Innovation proposals).
- Support CLC leadership and Stakeholder Relations Manager as required with Partner++
activities and other activities as required.
- Contribute to the general success of the regional CLC (if appropriate also beyond the strict CLC
geographical scope) by supporting the CLC leadership and Stakeholder Relations Lead and
