In order to achieve succesfully new projects, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Team Leader: Powerplant Integration Germany (d/f/m)

The role is to lead the propulsion team in Manching site for the main projects: FCAS, Eurodrone, Eurofighter, Tornado. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**

Main task in this position is to lead a team in charge of the integration of the Powerplant systems to accomplish the following activities:

- To integrate the Powerplant systems (including Control and Monitoring System) within the aircraft.
- To co-ordinate between the powerplant integration group and the rest of the aircraft disciplines (aerodynamics, flight physics, structures, design, systems, testing, certification and qualification ) to rationalise its integration in the aircraft
- To ensure proper development and documentation of the integration activities
- To provide advice of the implications and technical risks associated to the integration process.

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- Aerospace Engineer degree or similar
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Language skills (German) and English language: business fluent (nearly native speaker knowledge)
- Leadership skills (team spirit, motivation, communication)
- Working in an multicultural and international context
