**Our Team makes Flight Test and Laboratory Test possible.**

The Domain “FT Frameworks and Instrumentation” is responsible for Flight Test Instrumentation, the Flight Test Ground Station and the Simulation/Test Frameworks and Test Systems.

We are looking for a Teamleader heading the team “Test Test Frameworks Frontend Applications”.

This team develops in close cooperation with the Backend Services and the Integration Team all Frontend Services and Applications. Those solutions are used to support the development and test of the Airbus Defense and Space products like, Eurofighter, Tornado, Eurodrone, NGWS, Transport A/C, etc. and also on Airbus Group level.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- You provide leadership to a team of 14 software engineers, that delivers the Frontend Services and Applications for test & simulation infrastructure
- You support your team members in their growth and development
- You define and implement the measures to develop the necessary capabilities for the team and each individual. You make sure obstacles are identified (e.g. retrospectives) and tackled.
- You plan the teams workload and workforce according to project needs and support cost proposals
- You monitor that the execution of the projects in time, cost and quality and to ensure that the appropriate process directives are in place
- You implement the subcontracting strategy of the Test Center
- Support the head of the domain with general actions, strategy and business development
- Have an university degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive working expierience (> 8 years) in similar areas
- You should be familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in at least one of these languages: C/C++, Java, Ada
- Have experience in leading software projects
- It is appreciated if you have knowhow and experience in aviation systems and/or test facilities
- Have good Leadership skills and the willingness to learn and grow in leadership
- Like to work with a team and foster collaboration across team boundaries
- Can motivate yourself and your team
- Have knowhow in agile development and good communication skills
- Your interest in people, desire to create a software organization that attracts talents and ability to grow a trustful network of internal customers should be greater than your interest in technology
- Like to work in an international environment
- Very good English and German language skills, other languages French, Spanish would be a plus
