Für unser Innovationsteam suchen wir zum 1. September 2024 einen **R&D Technologist for Bionutrients Applications (m/w/d)** mit fundierter Expertise in der Fermentationswissenschaft, der/die
- Anwendungsmodelle im Bereich der mikrobiellen Fermentation für verschiedene Marktsegmente, darunter Starterkulturen, Probiotika, Produktion von Enzymen und Bioingredienzen, Biopharma entwickelt.
- Fermentationsanalysen durchführt, um die Leistungsfähigkeit unserer Produkte zu veranschaulichen.
- Initiativen zur Entwicklung neuer Produkte und zur Verbesserung bestehender Produkte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit anderen F&E- und verfahrenstechnischen Teams unterstützt.
**Die Rolle & Deine Aufgaben**:
- Planung, Initiierung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Experimenten und technischen Projekten in den Bereichen Fermentation und Mikrobiologie
- Durchführung von mikrobiellen Fermentationen im Labormaßstab unter Verwendung verschiedener Versuchsaufbauten (z. B. Mikrotiterplatten, Kolben, Bioreaktoren) und Analyse von Fermentationsprofilen
- Kontinuierliche Entwicklung und Verbesserung von Methoden, Versuchsprotokollen und Validierungsstudienverfahren
- Durchführung der vollständigen physikalischen, biologischen und chemischen Charakterisierung der getesteten Produkte
- Verwaltung von Projektplänen, einschließlich detaillierter Aktionspläne, Zeitvorgaben, Festlegung von Meilensteinen und Ermittlung von Risiken
- Effektives Organisieren, Interpretieren und Präsentieren von Daten für relevante Interessengruppen im gesamten Unternehmen
- Abgabe von Empfehlungen für Produktentwicklungsprojekte auf der Grundlage ständiger Beobachtung und Bewertung der jüngsten Forschung und neuer Technologien
- Durchführung von Literaturrecherchen zu neuen Entwicklungen in den Zielmarktsegmenten
- Tägliche Koordinierung, Betreuung und Schulung von Labortechnikern und Studenten (m/w/d)
**Dein Profil**:
- Master-Abschluss in Mikrobiologie, Fermentationswissenschaft, Biochemie, Biotechnologie, Bioprozesstechnik, Bioverfahrenstechnik oder verwandten Bereichen. Ein Doktortitel ist von Vorteil.
- Mindestens 3 Jahre Industrieerfahrung in der mikrobiellen Fermentation, idealerweise in den Bereichen Starterkulturen, Probiotika, Produktion von Enzymen und Bioingredienzien oder Biopharma
- Fundierte Fachkenntnisse in den Bereichen Fermentationswissenschaft, Bioprozessentwicklung, mikrobieller Stoffwechsel und Kulturmanagement
- Routine im Umgang mit Bioreaktoren und anderen Fermentationsgeräten, sowie Erfahrung im Fermentationslabor
- Gute Kenntnisse in analytischen Methoden zur Analyse von Fermentationsprozessen (z. B. Zellzählungsmethoden, HPLC, biochemische Tests usw.)
- Sicherer Umgang mit statistischen Werkzeugen zur Versuchsplanung; Kenntnisse von R und/oder Python sind von Vorteil
- Fähigkeit, klare, überzeugende und effektive technische Präsentationen vor Kollegen und Führungskräften (m/w/d) zu halten
- Fähigkeit, gut in einem dynamischen Umfeld zu arbeiten und mehrere Projekte gleichzeitig zu bewältigen, als Teamplayer mit einem hohen Maß an Selbstständigkeit
- Ausgeprägte zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten. Du bist neugierig, kreativ und lernwillig.
- Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
