**The role and your tasks**:
- Development of new products and processes based on yeast or other raw material
- Independent implementation of research projects: planning and execution of experiments on lab and pilot plant scale
- Optimization of existing production processes
- Application of biocatalytic technologies (enzymes)
- Analytical evaluation of products (chromatographic, photometric) with independent method development
- Functional characterization of products (rheological analysis, nutritional properties, sensory analysis)
- Independent literature research
- Documentation and presentation of results within the company
- Constant learning to remain at the state of art
**Your Profile**:
- Master of Science in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioprocess Engineering, or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience, expertise in enzyme catalysis would be an advantage
- First experience in design of experiments (DoE)
- Motivated and willing to keep learning
- Analytical mindset
- Good communication skills
- Experience in the planning and implementation of research projects
- Structured way of working
- Rapid adaptability in case of changing priorities
- Fluent in spoken and written English
