Wir suchen zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen **R&D Technologist - Produktentwicklung (m/w/d)**. Als wichtiges Mitglied unseres Innovations-Teams spielst du eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entwicklung neuer Hefe-Derivate, die in verschiedenen Bereichen wie Lebensmittel, Tiergesundheit, menschliche Gesundheit und/oder Fermentationsanwendungen eingesetzt werden.
**Die Rolle und Deine Aufgaben**:
- Entwickeln innovativer Produkte, Prozesse und Anwendungen auf Basis von Hefe oder alternativen Rohstoffen
- Eigenständige Umsetzung von Forschungsprojekten von der Planung bis zur Durchführung in Labor
- und Pilotanlagemaßstab
- Optimierung aktueller biotechnologische Produktionsprozesse
- Entwicklung und Anwendung einer Vielzahl von nachgeschalteten biotechnologischen Verfahren, einschließlich physikalischer, chemischer und biokatalytischer / enzymatischer Methoden, etc.
- Durchführung analytischer Bewertungen von Produkten mithilfe chromatographischer und photometrischer Techniken, einschließlich der Methodenentwicklung
- Funktionale Charakterisierung von Produkten durch rheologische Analysen, Bewertung der ernährungsphysiologischen Eigenschaften und sensorische Evaluation
- Aseptische Handhabung von Mikroorganismenkulturen und Bewertung der Produktleistung in mikrobiellen Kulturen oder Fermentationen
- Durchführung unabhängiger Literaturrecherchen, um auf dem neuesten Stand der Forschung zu bleiben
- Dokumentation und effektive Präsentation der Ergebnisse innerhalb des Unternehmens
- Engagement für kontinuierliches Lernen, um an der Spitze der Branche zu bleiben
**Dein Profil**:
- Abschluss als Master of Science in Biotechnologie, Biochemie, Bioverfahrenstechnik oder ähnlichen
- Nachgewiesene praktische Erfahrung in der Downstream-Processing Technologie: u. a. Separation, Filtration oder Extraktion Methoden
- Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit zur Planung und Durchführung von Forschungsprojekten
- Starke Multitasking-Fähigkeiten, die es ermöglichen, mehrere Aufgaben gleichzeitig zu bewältigen
- Vorherige Kenntnisse in Design von Experimenten (DoE)
- Analytische Denkweise und ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
- Fließend in Wort und Schrift in Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil
