**We seek**:
- In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, department Physics, Solid State Physics, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.09.2023 at the following conditions:
- 50% = 19,92 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited until 31.08.2026
**Your tasks**:
- Preparation and characterization of 2D-materials using surface science methods, especially scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
- Support in research and teaching, supervision and examination of students as well as assistance in administrational tasks
- Participation in the education of students in our Bachelor and Master programme
- Teaching commitment: 4 semester hours
**Your profile**:
- Master's or equivalent degree in physics or closely related field
- Proficiency in Solid State Physics
- We desire:
- Experience using scanning probe methods (especially STM)
- Experience in MBE, CVD and PVD
- Experience in the operation of UHV-systems
- Knowledge in the field of 2D-materials
