Das Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin in der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft (Max Delbrück Center) ist ein international bekanntes biomedizinisches Forschungszentrum. Wir wollen die molekularen Mechanismen von Gesundheit und Krankheit verstehen und auf dieser Basis neue Diagnostika und Medikamente entwickeln. Das Max Delbrück Center ist Mitglied der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, der größten Wissenschaftsorganisation Deutschlands, und bietet ein anregendes Forschungsumfeld mit modernster Forschungsinfrastruktur. Derzeit arbeiten ~1250 Mitarbeiter*innen und ~500 Gastwissenschaftler*innen an den Standorten Berlin-Buch und Berlin-Mitte. Eine unserer größten Stärken ist die Vielfalt unserer Belegschaft. Bewerber mit einem Hintergrund in Physik oder Mathematik und Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit großen Datensätzen

**Ihre Aufgaben**:
Entwicklung neuer Methoden zur zuverlässigen Bestimmung von Zellstatusgeschwindigkeiten aus Einzelzelldaten mit gepaarten Modalitäten.

Dazu zählen:

- Entwicklung von neuen mathematischen Modellen
- Arbeit mit großen Einzelzelldaten

**Ihr Profil**:

Anforderungen umfassen:

- Masterabschluss oder gleichwertiger Abschluss in den Bereichen Mathematik, Bioinformatik oder vergleichbarer Fachrichtungen
- Beherrschung der Programmierung
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse über R oder Python programming
- Erweiterte Kenntnisse in high-throuput single-cell data
- Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
