**Your mission**:
Now we are looking for a highly skilled and strategic VP of Sales Engineering (all genders) to join our dynamic team. As the VP of Sales Engineering (all genders), you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of talented sales engineers who are instrumental in driving the success of our sales efforts. You will work closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams to develop and execute effective strategies that align with our business objectives and customer needs.

This includes:

- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the sales engineering team, ensuring their continuous growth and development. Set clear performance expectations and goals, and foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Take a proactive approach in recruiting and hiring top talent for the sales engineering team.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with the sales team to engage with key customers and prospects, acting as a trusted advisor in understanding their unique requirements and translating them into compelling solutions. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value and benefits of Rivada Space Networks' solutions to customers. Ensure the sales engineering team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to deliver compelling solutions.
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, drive product enhancements, and ensure the alignment of product roadmaps with customer needs. Act as a voice of the customer, advocating for their requirements throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement training programs to equip the sales team with the technical knowledge and skills needed to effectively sell Rivada Space Networks' solutions. Keep the team updated on the latest product developments and industry trends.

**What you bring on the table**:

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A PhD or equivalent business experience is a plus
- 10+ yrs proven experience in sales engineering or related roles within the telecommunications or space industry, with a focus on complex B2B solutions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- In-depth technical knowledge of satellite communication systems, network infrastructure, and related technologies
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies
- Strong customer orientation and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience in recruiting and building successful sales engineering teams is highly desired
- Flexibility to travel

We can connect any two points on the globe without touching the ground, for unparalleled security, latency, throughput, reach and mobility.
By putting infrastructure in space and thus creating a network that is truly global, we will be able to provide a new and revolutionary solution for today’s biggest data networking challenges. Two highly innovative and reputable companies will construct and launch our satellites.
Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. Deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
