- We’re looking for an Funding Management (FM) Trader in UBS Europe SE Group Treasury to:
- execute a range of funding products in global, regional and domestic markets delivering sustainable economic returns
- perform quantitative scenario analysis to identify opportunities, risks and threats. Manage a broad range of risks including but not limited to structural interest rate, FX, Cross-currency basis
- follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
- manage the pricing of internal funding curves and execute Money Market flows across the Group
- generate incremental revenue balancing risk factors and financial resource consumption
- proactively keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
- make balanced trading decisions across the full product toolset, understanding the relative merits of each
- manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to market and execution risk, operational risk and compliance risk
- assist in driving global and regional strategic team initiatives
- lead the local short term issuance program
- understand and cover other Treasury trading areas in Europe SE Treasury

**Your team**
- Functionally you’ll be working in Group Treasury, Funding Management (FM), who’s mandate is to manage UBS's funded balance sheet risks and cash position, and the short dated issuance program across the globe. FM operates globally in 8 Locations (Zurich, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, New York). This role is based in Frankfurt. FM executes currency swaps (FX-Swaps, XCCY basis), Floating/Fixed money market loans/deposits and off balance sheet derivatives (OIS, IRS) to manage the currency imbalance and interest rate risks originating from all funding activities on a highly active balance sheet.
- The Asset and Liability Management team in Europe SE is responsible for the management of structural balance sheets risks, such as ensuring the firm is appropriately funded to meet the internal and regulatory requirements with diverse & cost-efficient funding sources, ensuring the risk-exposure in GT is appropriately managed within limits to facilitate stable & positive P&L contribution to the Group. The team is also responsible for firm wide projects and initiatives, acting as SME for all matters related to funding.
- The team operates in a performance orientated environment; whilst proactively supporting a good work life balance.

**Your expertise**
- preferably work experience (~3-5 years) in Money market trading, fixed income markets, ALM
- genuine interest in fixed income markets, macro-economics, balance sheet dynamics, regulatory drivers and impacts on funding risks
- strong analytical, data manipulation and communication skills required
- highly proactive self-starting working style
- proven success working in a fast-paced, agile working environment
- strong results focus
- an understanding of regulatory environment; especially in the area of funding, capital and liquidity
- high Excel, Powerpoint and data analysis (e.g. PowerBI / Tableau) fluency, experience in Bloomberg / Reuters / Python preferred
- excellent command in English (oral and written); Other European languages would be a plus
- German language proficiency is not a prerequisite
- CFA charterholder or equivalent would be an asset
