**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As an **Associate **, you will support the Trade & Working Capital Team in originating and structuring trade and working capital solutions for large corporate clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and in the Nordic countries. **You will have responsibility for a set of dedicated customers for your cluster.**

We need someone like you to help us in different areas:

- Support senior team members in identifying opportunities and assist in originating transactions within Trade & Working capital solutions for large corporate clients; prepare and deliver client presentations and actively support other sales and coverage initiatives.
- Perform financial and strategic business analysis.
- Adherence to internal processes and governance to ensure control and transparency over sales activity
- Gather market intelligence and support in advising clients on all matters concerning Trade and Working Capital solutions;
- Support managing the existing portfolio business and assist in enhancing the profitability and revenues in line with Santander’s requirements.
- Support the team in external advocacy roles in order to continue to build up Santander's branding and thought leadership.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in banking and or Trade & Working Capital instruments and solutions
- customer facing and or sales experience is a plus

EDUCATION
- B.A. in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent ideal, or
- other university and business school qualifications, such as finance, law, engineering, math, physics, or economics, as examples.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Fluency in English and in German. Spanish or any other language would be a plus.
