As a data scientist in the Center for Data & Analytics Insights, you will be a key element in shaping the future data culture and solutions at Fressnapf.

As an expert, you will lead complex data-driven projects, design advanced statistical models, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business outcomes. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of data science methodologies within the organization.

Your innovative and efficient solutions will focus on improving the entire journey of our customers by building and optimizing the future Fressnapf customer-centric ecosystem along its entire value chain.

**What you can move with us**:

- Lead end-to-end data science projects, including problem definition, data exploration, modeling, and implementation
- Develop advanced statistical models and algorithms to extract actionable insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data science and analytics
- Communicate complex findings and recommendations to senior management

**What you need to bring with you**:

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics), or proven equivalent experience
- Proven experience in leading data science projects and delivering business impact
- Deep knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and advanced machine learning algorithms as well as in programming languages such as Python, R.
- Expertise in data manipulation, feature engineering, and data visualization.
- Proficiency with Cloud environment (e.g. Azure, GPC, AWS), data-cloud technology (e.g. Snowflake), and version control tools (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with excellent communication and presentation skills
