We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented and entrepreneurial Business Development Professional who wants to develop existing collaborations and to grow business world-wide.
The role requires a strong scientific background and technical knowledge of our services paired with an in depth understanding of the specific needs of clients in big pharma and emerging biotech companies.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- University degree (Master’s, PhD or equivalent) in a relevant scientific area.
- You have high energy, a motivated attitude and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed.
- You have a solid understanding of the drug discovery and development process and you can consult our clients how ‘omics technologies can aid their objectives.
- Through knowledge of the industry and a network of opinion leaders, you identify new clients and potential collaborations.
- You ensure an efficient turnaround of requests through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design research studies, manage contract negotiations and to develop tailored business strategies.
- Representation of OmicScouts at relevant industry and scientific conferences, meetings and symposia.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, paired with intercultural and cross-functional competence and business proficiency in English language.
