**About Quantitative Research**:
Quantitative Research (QR) is an expert quantitative modeling group in J.P. Morgan, as well as a leader in financial engineering, data analytics, statistical modeling and portfolio management. As a global team, QR partners with traders, marketers and risk managers across all products and regions, contributes to sales and client interaction, product innovation, valuation and risk management, inventory and portfolio optimization, electronic trading and market making, and appropriate financial risk controls.

**Your Impact**:
You'll contribute to the firm's model development, effective capital management and financial risk controls. Specially, you'll have the chance to:

- Develop models for the calculation of capital requirements for counterparty risk;
- Manage the life cycle of the capital model together with our risk partners;
- Co-ordinate closely with regulators on all aspects counterparty risk modelling.

**About You**:

- Ideally you have working experience in counterparty credit risk capital (IMM - Internal Model Method) modelling and related regulations;
- You demonstrate quantitative and problem-solving skills as well as research skills;
- You are enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and collaboration;
- You have strong interpersonal skills - you listen and communicate in a direct, succinct manner;
- Advanced degree (PhD, MSc or equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc. Relevant academic research publications a plus;

**Nice to have**:

- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, like C++ or Java, and good at one of Python, Matlab or R
