**The challenge**:

- Optimize the German power
- and gas
- portfolio in the timeframe Month-Ahead to DayAhead to reduce risks from demand variations, shape positions or weather impacts
- Monitor meteorological forecasts and analyze its influence towards position or price changes
- Analyze fundamental market data and anticipate its impact towards prices on the German power and gas markets
- Develop Trading strategies to minimize risks
- Trade on OTC-, brokered and exchange markets
- Close collaboration with the spot and intraday trading team

**A convincing Background**:

- University Degree (economical / technical background) or other appropriate qualification
- Commercial experience in trading power or gas
- Experience in developing and executing trading and optimization strategies
- Profound knowledge of energy markets in Germany
- Commercial mindset
- High analytical skills and structured way of working
- IT affinity and good programing skills (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA)
- Willingness and motivation to develop and improve new business activities
- High degree of reliability, proactiveness and teamwork
- Good knowledge of German and English
