LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Master Graduate or Junior Engineer to join our Spacecraft Operations Teams for the Galileo mission in Gilching. The service is performed on shift (24/7 support).

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Complete the Galileo SPACON training program to achieve certification for operating the Galileo constellation
- Execute some specific operations, as defined in the operations timeline and in accordance with the established procedures
- Monitor the progress of the automated routine housekeeping operations of the spacecraft
- Upon detection of an anomaly, take the corrective action as necessary, according to the approved contingency procedures, and informing/assisting the responsible expert for further investigation
- Prepare and validate flight operations procedures and products
- Assist in the production of printouts, graphs and plots for off-line evaluation and anomaly analysis
- Maintain internal software tools
- Log and report routine and contingency operations
- Support in the maintenance of training material and train new spacecraft controllers

**Your profile**:

- Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Interest in real-time operations (satellite and ground segment)
- Knowledge of space communication and/or ground station systems and radio frequency technologies is an advantage
- Commitment and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift
- Fluency in English
