Job Title: Ingeniero aeroespacial

The Spacecraft Operations Engineer will be responsible for conducting satellite operations as part of this project. This includes preparing, validating, and executing operations inside the control room, relating to data-handling, telemetry, telecommanding, and payload subsystems of the Galileo satellite fleet.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the health and performance of spacecraft subsystems (such as data handling, TTC, Payload) throughout various mission phases, including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), Payload Commissioning, In-Orbit Testing (IOT), and routine operations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the spacecraft by providing technical expertise, real-time operational support, and continuous subsystem performance monitoring and analysis.
  • Provide support for routine, special, and contingency operations during LEOP, PF Commissioning, IOT, and routine phases.
  • Develop and write operational procedures.
  • Define and implement validation scenarios for operational readiness.
  • Perform validation, testing, and result reporting for Flight Operations Procedures (FOP).
  • Prepare for and participate in spacecraft validation tests (SVTs) and simulations.
  • Test and validate operational items.
  • Handle anomaly reports, including writing, action processing, and support of review boards.
  • Offer on-call support for assigned subsystems during routine operations.
  • Conduct offline analysis of subsystem performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  • Contribute to mission planning and operational documentation.
Requirements:

We are looking for graduates in the Spacecraft Operations field. You should have a relevant degree (at least a Bachelor) in the field of Aerospace Engineering or similar. We will also value experience as a Spacecraft Controller or Spacecraft Operations Engineer and knowledge of Spacecraft Operations.

You should also be open to occasional business trips (about twice a year).
