Overview
LSE Space is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Spacecraft Operations Team as a Spacecraft Controller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our satellite missions, from training and certification to flight operations and anomaly resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive training program to achieve certification as a Spacecraft Controller
- Develop and validate flight operations procedures and products to ensure seamless mission execution
- Participate in the testing and validation of the flight operations segment to ensure high-quality performance
- Monitor and control the operations progress for multiple satellite missions, adhering to the scheduled operations timeline
- Execute specific operations as defined in the operations timeline and in accordance with established procedures
- Respond to anomalies by taking corrective action as necessary, following approved contingency procedures, and supporting the responsible expert for further investigation
- Produce and evaluate graphs and plots for off-line analysis to inform mission decisions
- Support satellite operations engineers in their operations preparation and execution tasks
- Generate operations reports summarizing all shift activities and events
- Contribute to the maintenance of training material and train new spacecraft controllers
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree
- Interest in real-time operations (space and ground segment), software development, or satellite communications
- Commitment to working in a 24/7 shift environment
- Fluency in English
