Siemens DI PA DCP is introducing new SaaS offerings to grow and scale our Communications portfolio. We are looking to hire a Customer Sales Associate to work with the teams to support the Opportunity to Order function for the sales team generating revenue for the new portfolio. This covers the areas of quote creation, proposal generation, order packet validation, process and tools, global policies, pricing agreements and sales forecasting and tracking.

As the Customer Sales Associate you will support the Global Sales teams in the creation and completion of customer commercial engagements to deliver long-term account revenue growth and customer success within the DI PA DCP Organization. This role will be hired and hosted within the DI PA SW business to enable you to leverage the software organization and systems but will report into the DI PA DCP business.

**Areas of responsibility**
- Quote and Order standard process
- Supports the Sales Teams in the creation and delivery to customer of proposals and quotes. This may include situational analysis and the creation of multiple commercial options to meet different objectives.
- O2O Workflows. Supports and monitors the entire O2O process from submission, workflow, approval (ensure approval justifications are captured, clean orders are checked off) to CAA acceptance with final delivery, billing and revenue recognition.
- Assists sales teams to ensure requirements for order submission are fulfilled (e.g. payer and credit limit set up, EES requirements, ECC / Damex requirements etc.)
- Handles or coordinates complex queries on products, pricing, licensing, install data including non-standard or trade-in.
- Checks billing status and notifies sales or finance to send invoice with address in local language as needed.
- Review of manual orders to ensure clean order submission (COD, EULA, PST, GSLA, PO...., policy clearance and sign off)
- ** Process and Tools**
- Understands company processes and policies related to sales.
- Proficient in Corporate tools - CRM and O2O
- Participates in UAT, identifies and clarifies issues and/or enhancement requests.
- Assists in local deployment including notification and guidance to local internal users and partners.
- Coordinates with zone support team for new users, partners or organizational change set up.
- Provides tools support to local users.
- Conducts training and knowledge transfer to local users (new user, refresh training as appropriate)
- ** Global Policies**
- Be familiar with Corporate Policies and performs policy validation and collection of approvals ahead of This also includes facilitation of the contract and legal bidding document approval as needed.
- ** Pricing Agreement**
- Be responsible for maintaining pricing agreements in Vendavo.
- ** Sales Forecasting & Tracking**
- Maintains and updates order tracking list.
- Assists in reporting and forecast process.

**How do you become part of our team? With a lot of drive and passion**
- Experience working in a Sales Operations (or similar) position within the Software industry would be hugely advantageous
- A problem-solving mindset for complex analysis of policy, workflows, process and system tools and transactions to facilitate timely and accurate transactions that comply with prevailing policy and process guidelines and business boundaries
- Familiarity of transactional processing of Quote and/or proposal activities in adherence with prescribed policy and processes.
- Knowledge of reporting/forecast process; training/knowledge transfer to internal/external; support EES/ECC; process improvement engagement as an active participant.
- Able to handle competing demands and prioritise effectively
- Assertive at dealing with other people; being able to provide coherent advice about what is feasible without upsetting others
- Competent communication skills (verbal and written) to both engage and influence people, building strong networks
- Ability to operate as a team player, collaborating effectively with a wide range of colleagues, both locally and globally, and on occasion, customers.
- Good working level of maths
- e.g. for computing percentage price changes
- A drive to take ownership and deliver successful outcomes for both Siemens and our customers

**Preferred Experience**
- University degree level standard or relevant extended industrial relevant experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in an Opportunity to Order role.
- Experience achieved in a Multi-National company environment.
- Proficient in use of Salesforce
- Experience of O2O would be beneficial
