**A Snapshot of Your Day**

You might start your day with checking the cash balances of all the entities in the world and verifying if there are any new bank guarantee demands which require your attention. In the meeting just before lunch and together with the Group CFO, you evaluate the cash flow developments and the forecast of the various factories in order to detect any need for discussion with one of the factories or the banks. After lunch, you start interacting with the Cash Management responsible of the various factories and to assess if any support is needed in terms ensuring liquidity within the factories. The rest of the afternoon, you might spend with activities around automating treasury activities in the organization in calls with the banks or other financial institutions, sharing best practices on how to implement the new reporting requirements into our SAP system.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Defining, describing and implementing independent Treasury Processes for the whole Group and building up a competent team as well as implementing a Treasury Guideline (Cash Management / Hedging)
- Managing payment advisory topics for the Organization (e.g., embargo checks, master data, testing, user management, interfaces, payments, and bank connectivity) and establishing corresponding Controls
- Supporting the Group entities in all Treasury matters, ensuring the compliance of the entities with Treasury policies, procedures, and controls to protect the company’s assets
- Negotiating as well as establishing sufficient Credit Lines for the Group Factories and Sales Offices for a permanent liquidity
- Establishing a Guarantee Management System with the Group and negotiating Guarantee Lines as well as Conditions for the Group Factories and Sales Offices (e.g Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds etc.)
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes, working with different functions as well as external services providers to consistently optimize accuracy and efficiency of processing transactions while improving internal controls
- Managing and maintaining relations with banks and other financial institutions plus the relevant Power of Attorney´s
- Establishing and maintaining a system to manage commodity and foreign exchange risks arising from Group´s operational business

**What You Bring**
- Successfully completed master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or in a related field, ideally supplemented by additional finance-related qualifications (e.g., MBA, CFA)
- Convincing with proactive, efficient, and accurate way of working and at least 5 years of professional work experience in Treasury in an international operating company or in a similar position
- Experience in working with Treasury Management Systems (incl. ancillary IT Tools)
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary as well as experience in Tableau, VBA, SAP; automation through AI, machine learning and robotics would be a plus
- Strong ability to work in a team, intercultural strength, and your ability to work collaboratively across functions in a highly demanding and dynamic environment
- Hiring, training and retaining competent Treasury & Financial Controlling staff.
- Excellent language skills in German and English
