With our research in the divisions of climate-neutral energy systems, resource-efficient processes and circular products, we make concrete contributions to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Our employees conduct research in the fields of energy, environment, safety, health, communication and mobility.
**What you will do**
The group Energy Process Technology deals with the transformation of process heat in industry, which accounts for almost one fifth of the German final energy demand. In this Bachelor Thesis you will identify and analyze (innovative) technologies in the field of industrial process heat for different process temperatures and energy carriers:
- Research on technologies in the field of industrial process heat
If desired, the Bachelor Thesis can also be combined with a previous work as a student assistant.
**What you bring to the table**
- Studies in the field of energy technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering, engineering or in a similar field
- Interest in thermodynamic evaluations
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Powerpoint, possibly Visio)
- Independent and accurate way of working as well as fast comprehension skills
- Ability to work in a team and creativity as well as active introduction of new ideas
