In unserer Abteilung »Energiesysteme« modellieren und bewerten wir lokale Energiesysteme und analysieren ihren Beitrag zur Energiewende. Zur Analyse und Bewertung der lokalen Energiesysteme nutzen wir unter anderem die Methode der Energiesystemoptimierung. In dem Projekt »Flexblue« befassen wir uns mit der Flexibilisierung des Kältesektors. Werde Teil unseres Teams und trage mit deiner Masterarbeit zur Energiewende bei

 

In our department »Energy Systems« we model and evaluate local energy systems and analyze their contribution to the energy transition. One of the methods we use to analyse and evaluate local energy systems is energy system optimization. In the project »Flexblue« we deal with the flexibilization of the cooling sector. What you will do

  • Sensitivity analysis of total system costs and forecast accuracy: Investigation of how the total costs of the system change if the forecasts are made at different times in advance and with different levels of accuracy

  • Analysis of electricity prices: Looking at different electricity markets and their forecasts

  • Programming: Creating energy system models and performing their calculations in Python

     

 

What you bring to the table

  • Studies in natural sciences or engineering with a background in energy technology or mathematics

  • Ideally knowledge of programming in Python

  • Very good knowledge of German or English

  • Interest in developing your own ideas and questions and integrating them into your work

  • Independent, structured and reliable way of working
