In order to support Combat Aircraft Simulation, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

**Working Student (d/f/m) within Simulation Combat Aircraft**:
Our department develops top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development lifecycle. We are looking for a Working Student to support us in the development of flight simulators. Focus of the work will be the development and integration of Synthetic Environment Services for tactical environment, weapon behavior, mission functions, weather and datalinks.

Located about an hour’s drive north of Munich, Manching is an up-and-coming market town that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. Here, you can enjoy the quality of life in the countryside while the pleasures of near-by cities are still within easy reach.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Development and maintenance of Simulation Software for SE Services
- Integration of Simulation models into simulation software
- Test, Validation & Verification of simulation software and components
- Documentation of the appropriate software modules
- Analyze the causes of reported issues and correct them
- Support to Simulator Operation and pilot assessments

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- You are a full time student (d/f/m) within aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or information technology
- Interest in flight simulators, software development and integration
- Knowledge of object oriented programming and scripting languages, in particular C/C++, bash, python
- some first experience in modeling, software design and testing beneficial
- Very good English knowledge
- Agile Development Methodologies desired
- Good communication skills with an ability to operate in a multicultural environment

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
