The department "Flight Management Systems" at Airbus Defence and Space is in charge of system design and development of avionics, in particular military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight Guidance functions. This covers manned aircraft and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) like Barracuda and Eurodrone, including automatic/autonomous operations of these unmanned aircraft.

We are looking for a creative intern who is willing to develop a method for flight trajectory validation based on computer vision and image processing methods. You will be working closely with our team on the development of solutions to compare UAV flight trajectories to reference trajectories.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Development of algorithms for aircraft trajectory validation (including unmanned aircraft).
- Compare the trajectories flown by an aircraft with the reference trajectories.

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled Fulltime Master student (d/f/m) in Aeronautical Engineering / Mathematics / Computer Science or similar field of study
- Experience in Python
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Familiar with path planning
- Good English skills
- Good team player
