MySQL Administrator with PostgreSQL

**MySQL DBA**
- 6 to 9 years of experience on **MySQL **database administration.
- Good Expertise in **MySQL** internals, configuration, and replication strategies and upgradation/Migration is MANDATORY
- ü Experience migrating between database technologies, especially integrating with third-party replication systems such as Tungsten.
- ü Working experience in migrating **MySQL **Fabric Replication Shards to NDB Cluster 7.4 is MANDATORY
- Working experience in NDB Clusters is MANDATORY
- Should understand MySQL development.
- Expertise in upgrading and migrating databases to Cloud
- Hands on experience on Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Should have good understanding on Indexing, Partitions, and different storage engines available under **MySQL**.
- Hands on experience in setting up replication and different configuration parameters available in **MySQL**.
- Good exposure working with Linux/Unix environment.
- Capable of supporting and implementing technology projects as the primary DBA in support of business initiatives
- Provide 24x7 production support.
- Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication

**PostgreSQL**:

- Minimum 5 year experience with **PostgreSQL **8.3, 8.4, 9.0
- Good understanding of query execution plans
- Good SQL scripts skill including Store Procedures, PL/SQL scripting
- Good performance tuning skills
- Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore
- Experience in replication, is a plus
- Hands-on experience on database administration, backup recovery and troubleshooting in co-location environments
- Expertise in Oracle Backup & Recovery.
- Experience in Database Cloning or Refresh.
- Analyze requirements from developers and architects for data Loads/Migrations, and build PL/SQL procedures to satisfy requests
- Mentor team members on DBA tasks and new technologies
- Process knowledge on Incident Management & Change management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be flexible and willing to work in shifts.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: 300.00€ - 400.00€ per day
