**The Opportunity**

The Digital and Social Media Lead will be responsible for developing and overseeing Urban Sports Club's global, and local, digital and social media strategies. This role will ensure alignment across all regions and focus on increasing engagement, brand awareness, and community involvement through digital channels, community events, and content initiatives such as podcasts and advertorials.

**Your responsibilities**
- Digital & Social Media Strategy: Develop and oversee global and local digital strategies, ensuring alignment across regions and staying updated on trends.
- Content Creation & Management: Lead global content initiatives, managing platforms and creating brand-aligned content in collaboration with creative teams.
- Community Engagement: Support local events and ensure they align with brand strategy, while promoting effective community engagement.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor KPIs, analyse reports, and refine strategies based on social listening and performance insights.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with global teams, guiding local teams on digital initiatives and fostering best practices.
- Budget Management: Oversee and allocate the social and digital media budget, ensuring efficient resource management.

**What you need to succeed**
- 5 years proven experience in the field of Social Media Marketing, and at least 3 years managing international teams.
- Strong understanding of digital content creation, including podcasts, advertorials, and social media content.
- Experience in **supporting and overseeing community events**, ensuring their promotion across digital channels and alignment with the overall brand strategy.
- Excellent **analytical and reporting skills** with a focus on KPI's and social media metrics to identify needs & opportunities and steer and adapt local approaches accordingly.
- **Strategic mindset**: Ability to act as a strategic advisor and collaborate with local teams to develop strategies based on their local needs.
- **Challenger mentality**:self-driven, with a passion for challenging the status quo and developing new tools based on identified needs and opportunities.
- **Hands-on mentality**: Willing to support local teams in the execution of social media and digital action plans
- Fluent mastery of English and German necessary
