**Duties**:

- Coordinate responses to travel recommendations to various organizations.
- Act as point of contact for designated administrative matters pertaining to family travel assisting all EFMP customers.
- Review incoming Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) documentation for medical conditions.
- Maintain tracking documentation on activities performed in the office; i.e. correspondence, screenings, etc.
- Provide information to the Regional Chief on recurring issues with incomplete documentation for further action.
- Ensure discussions with military member's chain of command and others outside the medical community are in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
- Review medical and educational enrollment information submitted by outlying MTFs
- Assist with composing a variety of correspondence to include; electronic mail, memoranda, reports and policies relating to the Regional Command EFMP/FMTS office.

- This position is identified as Mission Essential which may require you to work or remain at work during an emergency situation or when inclement weather has curtailed operations (e.g., threat to the facility, natural disaster, delayed reporting).
- This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.
- This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 15% of the time away from your permanent duty station.

**Specialized Experience**: One year of experience including: 1) Assisting in identifying and evaluating patients special medical, dental, and/or educational needs in order to refer patients to offices and/or agencies that can provide support; 2) determining and monitoring suspense dates; and 3) assisting soldiers and installation EFMP managers and personnel offices with compassionate re-assignment actions.

**Education**:Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in afield which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.**OR**

**Combination of Education and Experience**: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.**Education**:

- U.S. citizens overseas under ordinarily resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement.
- This is a Career Program (CP) 53 - Medical position.
- If an employee brings a child, Toddler, or infant to an overseas location and that child is entitled to attend a DoD school on a space-required basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation 1342.13, the DoDEA and the Military Department responsible for providing related services will ensure that the child, if eligible for special education, receives a free appropriate public education, including related services pursuant to DoDI 1342.12 and DoDM 1342.12.
- Employees (and family members) who require medical or dental care in the overseas location will be responsible for obtaining and paying for such care. Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only.
- Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations. Pay retention will not be offered as an incentive for employees moving between overseas positions.
- Selectees may receive certain foreign area benefits such as: Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) or government quarters, home leave, etc. Selectees will have their eligibility for foreign area benefits determined at the time of hire in accordance with Departme
